Rosella/ Hibiscus (Herbal Decoction)

Rosella also known as hibiscus, is a flower native to tropical countries. The flower is traditionally been used for several medicinal properties including;

1. High Vitamin C that contributes to strong bones and teeth, wound healing, and producing collagen, it also helps absorb iron (...therefore much to our surprise...)
   
   
2. Rosella is incredibly high in iron! Low iron anaemia, or iron deficiency is a very common condition that many people face and as a result experience extreme fatigue and other very uncomfortable symptoms. We don’t realise how much our bodies need iron until we don’t have enough. Iron helps us in many ways, from immunity boosting to gastrointestinal systems, reducing fatigue and moving oxygen from your lungs to the rest of your body. If you’re a pregnant lady, you need iron because your body is working really hard right now and iron helps to produce more blood (haemoglobin) for both you and your baby.
   
   
3. It could lower high blood pressure, which has been known to weaken the heart over time, and is also linked to heart disease.
