Dietary habits developed in the childhood, frequently find their way well into adulthood. They set the tone and pattern for lifelong health and wellness. As the children grow, they form food and health habits & notions that will serve them for the rest of their lives.
There’s a common misconception that children can enjoy all types of food until they reach adulthood. The truth, however, is that, the children do need to focus on eating better to ensure that they live a long, healthy life and avoid gaining unnecessary weight. Unfortunately, most of the foods available these days is highly processed, preservative laden food, and holds little to absolutely zero nutritional value. The food that we’re buying and feeding our children is absolutely insufficient in supporting their growth and development. Unknowingly, with the choice of food we buy for our kids, we are promoting and encouraging a lifetime of poor eating habits.
As a brand that believes in good nutrition and emphasizes the importance of healthy and unadulterated food, we aspire that every child is healthy and free from sickness & growth-related issues. To further our cause, we have partnered with the Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots program in Tanzania. Through this partnership we visit various schools in our community to talk to the kids about good food eating habits . We try to teach the children the difference between food that can and should be eaten daily vs food that can be eaten only after exercising due caution.
